To save battery life, the DT-400W allows you to set the time for the NOAA alert to be active, and a flashing LED alert reminds you when the alert is on. In addition to emergencies, the 7 NOAA channels provide up-to-date general weather information for trip planning or weekend picnics. The large backlit LCD display shows time, station, battery life, alert indication, and other important information.

The advanced PLL Synthesized Digital Receiver provides drift-free AM/FM reception, while the Deep Bass Boost enhances your stereo music listening experience. With 19 random preset selections, you can mix AM/FM stations and access them immediately through the "My Favorites" button. Other features include a Lock Switch to prevent accidental setup changes, optional 90-minute auto shutoff, a built-in speaker, auto station seek, and a removable belt clip.

The DT-400W also includes digital AM/FM/NOAA public alert weather radio, 19 random presets for AM/FM/WX with a favorite station select button, a real-time clock, sleep timer, auto seek, and optional 90-minute auto shutoff.
